# Accessing The RIFTSTORM Alpha Playtest

## <mark style="color:yellow;">**Search for Steam on your Web Browser and Download the Steam App Client**</mark>

Search for Steam on your preferred web browser or go to <https://store.steampowered.com/about/> to download the Steam application. Once downloaded, open the application and follow the instructions to install Steam. You may also need to create a Steam account if you do not already have one.

## <mark style="color:yellow;">**Search for “RIFTSTORM: Alpha Playtest” in the Steam Store**</mark>

Once you have already created a Steam account, you can search the store page for: "**RIFTSTORM**: Alpha Playtest" to sign-up for Playtest Access.

Once access is granted, you will find the game in your Library.

Select the game from your Library and Install the game.
